Women's Soccer Raises $340 for Griffin's Friends at Clinic

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's soccer team raised $340 for Griffin's Friends Children's Cancer Fund through the Kick it to Cancer Clinic on the HUB Quad on Wednesday.

The clinic was attended by 34 girls between the ages of 7-14 to work with the Moravian women's soccer staff and team members for an hour and a half.

Griffin's Friends is named for Griffin D. Kelleher, who passed away at 14 months of age after a courageous battle with cancer. Griffin's Friends is a group of volunteers dedicated to providing support for children battling cancer and their families.
