Schall Selected to NSCAA/Continental Tire All-Mid-Atlantic Region 3rd Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- Moravian College senior midfielder Kirsten Schall added to her postseason list of awards as she earned a spot on the 2014 National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Women's All-Mid-Atlantic Region Third Team.

Schall becomes the 10th player in the 21-year history of Moravian women's soccer to earn All-Region honors. Earlier this fall, she was honored as the Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Year for the second time in three seasons and was also selected to the Landmark All-Conference First Team. Schall is a four-time All-Conference honoree with First Team selections this fall and in 2012 and Second Team spots in 2011 and 2013.

"All season long, Kirsten demonstrated the level of play that is deserving of this honor," commented first-year Head Coach Jeff Ykoruk. "We are all very happy for her and this is a great way for her to cap off an excellent career. With this award, she puts herself in the category as one of the great players who have put on a Moravian College uniform."

Schall led the 2014 squad with 16 goals and one assist for 33 points, and she netted five game-winning goals. She completed her career third in school history in both goals with 35 and points with 88, and Schall is fourth in the Moravian record books with 18 career assists.

Off of the pitch, Schall is a three-time member of the Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll was named to the 2014 Capital One Academic All-District IV NCAA Division III Soccer Team.
