WILKES-BARRE, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's soccer team dropped its second straight 1-0 match, falling in overtime at King's College in non-conference action Wednesday evening.

Junior forward Gabby Stelzmiller nearly gave the Greyhounds a quick lead with a shot on goal in the third minute of play and she added another shot in the 24th minute while freshman forward Lauren Haley fired a shot on the keeper in the 27th minute. Stelzmiller also opened the second half with a shot on net in the 49th minute before taking another shot on goal in the 55th minute. Junior forward Aimee Manley added a shot on goal in the 69th minute for the Greyhounds while Stelzmiller had one more shot on goal during regulation in the 87th minute.

The Monarchs managed two shots on freshman goalie Siobhan O'Sullivan-Evangelista in the final 15 minutes of regulation with O'Sullivan-Evangelista stopping both attempts. Sophomore Jamie Daly played the first 45 minutes in goal for the Greyhounds.

King's would eventually breakthrough on the scoreboard on the only shot of the extra session in the 97th minute when the Monarchs put a free kick from 20 yards out over the top of the out-stretch O'Sullivan-Evangelista and just under the crossbar. The tally was just the second allowed by the Greyhounds this season in a span of 839 minutes of action this fall.

Moravian is slated to return to action on Saturday, September 30 when the squad hosts Drew University in a Landmark Conference contest beginning at 1:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
