TOWSON, Md. --- Freshman forward Megan Chesney has been selected as the Landmark Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Chesney helped the Greyhounds to a 2-0 record last week by scoring three goals and adding an assist. Chesney had a goal in Moravian's 2-0 win at rival Muhlenberg College before netting two goals in the fourth minute of an 8-0 win over Keystone College. Chesney also had assist versus the Giants while taking eight shots in the contest with six on goal and one hitting the cross bar.

"Megan is off to a great start," stated Head Coach Jeff Ykoruk. "She set the tone by having a great summer and coming into camp in amazing shape. That has helped her adjust to the college game and she has scored some really important goals for us this season. We look for her to continue her success and really happy to have her in our program."

Moravian is slated to return to action on Wednesday, September 19 in a non-conference contest at Albright College beginning at 7:00 p.m.
