Moravian Women Drop Landmark Conference Match to Regionally-Ranked Scranton

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to visiting The University of Scranton Saturday afternoon on John Makuvek Field.

The regionally-ranked Royals took a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute and held that advantage until the 49th minute when they added another tally.

Greyhound junior goalie Jamie Daly recorded three saves while playing the first 45 minutes for the Blue and Grey while sophomore keeper Siobhan O'Sullivan-Evangelista added another three saves in the second half.

Moravian is slated to return to action in a Landmark Conference contest versus Elizabethtown College on Wednesday, October 10 beginning at 7:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
