Prior to the start of the contest, the Greyhounds honored seniors midfielder Shae Duka, defender Paige Kovacs, midfielder Aimee Manley, forward Gabby Stelzmiller and Gabby Nasta, who has spent the last two seasons working as an academic mentor with the freshmen class after playing two season for the Hounds.

"I'm really proud of our group of seniors," stated fifth-year Head Coach Jeff Ykoruk of the group that made up his first full recruiting class. They all have different personalities but within that they all have the same high standards on and off the field. Their commitment level to the program is amazing and second to none.

"Our younger players have no reason not to have somebody to look up to. Without their leadership, day in and day out, we wouldn't have a winning record at this moment" finished Ykoruk.

Moravian is slated to close out the 2018 regular season on Saturday, October 27 with a Landmark Conference match at Goucher College beginning at 4:00 p.m. The Greyhounds need to win the contest and have Elizabethtown College either tie or lose to Catholic to clinch a berth in the 2018 Landmark Conference Tournament that begins on Tuesday, October 30.
