Why did you choose Moravian College?
I chose to come to Moravian College because of the size of the school, the distance it is from home, and the feeling of comfort and welcome when I stepped on the campus. I have always attended small schools, so the size of Moravian is a perfect fit for me. I also didn't want to be too close to home or too far. Moravian is an hour and a half away from my house so it is very easy to go home if I need to.

What is your major and why?
I am a Psychology major. I chose to major in Psychology because I hope to go into some sort of counseling when I graduate.

What has been your favorite course at Moravian and why?
My favorite course at Moravian so far is a Psychology class that I am currently enrolled in. I am in a class in which I have to plan and perform an actual experiment and I am very excited to begin! The process is so interesting and I can't wait to see how it goes.

What are your plans for the future once you finish your degree at Moravian?
Once I finish my degree at Moravian, I am hoping to go to graduate school and start my life somewhere in the counseling field.

What is your most memorable moment as a Greyhound?
My most memorable moment as a Greyhound is being named one of the captains of the team, making 1st Team All-Conference, and being named Co-Offensive Player of the Year all in my sophomore year.

How has being an athlete helped you as a student and in the classroom?
Being an athlete has helped me as a student in a number of ways. The one major thing it has taught me is time management. With four classes a semester and either practice or a game each day, we are very busy but being a student-athlete has helped me organize my schedule and work well under pressure.

What is the hardest part of your sport?
For me, the hardest part of the sport is not being able to use my head while playing. I've had a few concussions and between myself, my parents, and the trainers we came to the conclusion that the best thing for my health would be to avoid heading the ball. It is frustrating that I cannot use my head, but I have taught myself to use my shoulder instead.

Why do you wear your jersey number?
#3 has been my number since I was about 10 years old. Christie Rampone is #3 and when I started playing soccer I looked up to her and decided I wanted to be #3 also.

What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian College student-athlete?
The advice I would give to a prospective Moravian College student-athlete is to come into the season in shape and ready to play. You will enjoy it more and it will make playing easier if you show up at camp in shape. Another thing I would tell them is to know that your coaches are there to help you and if you have any problems athletically or academically they will do what they can to resolve any problems...don't be afraid to go to your coaches for help.
