Why did you choose Moravian College?
I choose Moravian because it has everything I could ask for in a college. I am able to get a great education, play a sport I love and it has brought some of the greatest friendships into my life that I could ask for.

What is your major and why?
My major is Marketing Management and I picked this major because I love working with people and would one day like to hold a management position.

What has been your favorite course at Moravian and why?
My favorite course at Moravian is still currently up in the air because I am currently taking Human Resource Management with Dr. Desiderio and her passion for teaching is such an inspiration and she makes attending class a pleasure.

What are your plans for the future once you finish your degree at Moravian?
In a perfect world I would love to travel but in order to do that I need to make some money first. I hope to get a job after college and work in the city for a few years. If I could get involved with wedding planning that would be a dream come true.

What is your most memorable moment as a Greyhound?
My most memorable moment as a Greyhound would be being apart of the Moravian Women's Soccer team.

How has being an athlete helped you as a student and in the classroom?
Being an athlete has definitely helped myself as a student by pushing me to become more organized and manage my time better.

What is the hardest part of your sport?
The hardest part of my sport would have to be staying healthy and avoiding injury. Soccer is a physical sport and involves a lot of running and at times can be hard to avoid getting hurt.

Why do you wear your jersey number?
I have worn 5 ever since I was little and the number just stuck with me.

Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome.
Tearing my ACL and getting surgery in January was definitely one of the hardest things I have been faced in life. Being hurt is hard and it takes a lot of emotional strength to get through it. Sitting on the sidelines for 9 months was tough but I couldn't be happier to be playing again.

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Moravian?
I have loved being involved in community service since High School. I think it is a huge opportunity all student-athletes should be apart of because there is nothing better than giving back to the community and being able to represent Moravian while doing it.

What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian College student-athlete?

My advice to any
prospective Moravian College student-athlete is to enjoy high school and be excited for college. Playing a sport here at Moravian was probably one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have made some of the greatest relationships through this team and I couldn't be more grateful for this family here at Moravian. Being a student-athlete is hard work but it pays off in the long run and I couldn't have asked for a better experience here at Moravian.
