Brienne Smith is entering her fourth season as head coach at Moravian College in 2013. Under her leadership, the Greyhounds have qualified for three straight appearances in the Landmark Conference Tournament and the ECAC Division III South Quarterfinals in 2012.  The team has also earned three consecutive NSCAA Team Academic Awards, and coach Smith was named the Landmark Conference Coach of the Year in 2012.    

Coach Smith joined Moravian after spending the previous nine years as assistant head coach at Tufts University (Mass.). While at Tufts, Smith helped the Jumbos post an 82-38-12 record with three trips to the NCAA Division III Tournament, including a trip to the “Final Four” in 2005.

Smith is a 2001 graduate of Clark (Mass.) University, where  she earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in education. She completed a Master of Science in physical education at Bridgewater State (Mass.) College in 2007. Smith has also earned a National Diploma from the NSCAA.
