Women's Tennis Falls to NCAA DI Lafayette to Close Out Fall Campaign

EASTON, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team dropped its first match of the season and ended the fall portion of its 2016-17 schedule with a 6-1 loss at NCAA Division I Lafayette College Thursday afternoon.

The Leopards swept the doubles action to earn the first point of the match as the squads played by NCAA Division I rules with the three doubles contests counting for just one point.

Moravian earned its point with a three-set, 6-3, 6-7 (2-7), 1-0 (10-6) win at first singles by senior Brittney Eady. The victory was the 40th of Eady's career.

The Greyhounds complete the fall with a 2-1 record and the team is slated to return to action in early March 2017 when the Blue and Grey make their annual Spring Break trip to Orlando, Florida.
