Women's Tennis Set For 2017 Fall Opener on September 15

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team is set to open its 2017 fall season on Friday, September 15 when the squad welcomes Gwynedd Mercy University to Hoffman Courts for a non-conference contest.

Third-year Director of Tennis Alan Heverly has eight returning players from last year's squad that reached the Landmark Conference Semifinals with a pair of 5-4 victories in the final weekend of the regular season. That returning group includes senior Skylar Oliwa, who was on the Landmark All-Conference First Team in doubles this past spring, and junior Kate Rennar, who will be one of the team's captains along with Oliwa. Heverly has also brought in six freshman to join the Greyhound squad.
