Women's Tennis Selected Second in 2018 Landmark Conference Preseason Poll

TOWSON, Md. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team has been selected to finish second overall in the Landmark Conference Coaches Preseason Poll.

The Hounds finished the voting with 50 points and one first-place vote and were behind The University of Scranton, which received 58 points and three first-place votes. Rounding out the top four are Drew University in third place with 49 points and three first-place votes and Elizabethtown College in fourth with 42 points and one first-place vote.

The Blue and Grey return five players from last season's 10-7 team that played in the Landmark Conference Semifinals including senior Skylar Oliwa, who was named to the Landmark All-Conference First Team in singles in 2017. Moravian also has five freshman competing this year and helped the squad to a 3-1 mark during the fall.

The Greyhounds will start the spring portion of their 2017-18 season on Friday, March 16 versus Bryn Mawr College in a non-conference contest beginning at 3:00 p.m.
