Wright Hits ECAC Mark at Princeton Tiger Open

PRINCETON, N.J. --- The Moravian College women's indoor track & field squad competed at the non-scoring Princeton University Tiger Open Saturday as they resumed action this weekend with a pair of meets.

Senior Brianna Wright placed 15th in the 60-meter dash with an ECAC qualifying time of 8.04 seconds while junior Corinne Glass was 19th the 400-meter dash in 1:01.23 as she won her heat of the race. Wright also finished 25th in the 200-meter dash in 27.68 seconds.

Glass was part of Moravian's 4x400-meter relay squad along with seniors Brielle Sutter and Morgan Redmond and freshman Cassie Cronk that was 12th in 4:12.13. Redmond was 23rd in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.77 seconds while freshman Melissa Cheong placed 25th in the hurdles in 9.94 seconds.

Sophomore Meg Brockett had the top individual finish for the Greyhounds, finishing 13th in the 3,000-meter run in 10:35.62. Senior Emily Lambright was 19th in the race in 10:56.33.

Senior Jenny Kratch placed 19th in the 20-pound weight throw with a toss of 12.96 meters (42 feet, 6.5 inches) in the field events for the Greyhounds.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, January 31 at the Lehigh University Covert Classic.
