Redmond Competes on Opening Day of NCAA DIII National Championships

CANTON, N.Y. --- The Moravian College track & field women's teams had senior Morgan Redmond compete on the opening day of action Thursday at the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships being hosted by St. Lawrence University.

Redmond ran in Thursday's preliminary heats of the 400-meter hurdles. She had a time of 1:03.18, the second fastest time in school history and just 0.6 seconds off of her school record, in the final race of her collegiate career. Redmond was sixth in her heat and finished 15th overall of the 22 runners in the preliminaries.

Moravian will have one more student-athletes in action on the final day of action at the NCAA Championships on Saturday, May 23 with freshman javelin thrower Mary Kate Duncan set to compete.
