Duncan Participates in Javelin at NCAA DIII National Championships

CANTON, N.Y. --- Freshman Mary Kate Duncan was the final Moravian College student-athlete to compete in the 2014-15 athletic campaign as she participated in the women's javeling throw on the final day of the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships hosted by St. Lawrence University on Saturday.

Duncan threw in the second flight of the preliminaries Saturday afternoon, finishing 22nd with a toss of 35.87 meters (117-8) on her third throw. Duncan had a toss of 34.95 meters (114-8) on her opening attempt before a foul on her second throw. Duncan was one of four throwers in the event from the Landmark Conference.

She was one of four Moravian competitors at the NCAA meet over the last three days as all four student-athletes attended the national championships for the first time in their careers.
