ITHACA, N.Y. --- The Moravian College women's indoor track & field squad had two student-athletes compete on the opening day of the 2017 ECAC Division III Indoor Championships being hosted by Ithaca College Friday.
Sophomore Amari Schooler ran a career best time of 9.30 seconds in the 60-meter hurdle preliminaries to advance to the finals on Saturday in fifth place. Junior Melissa Cheong finished 14th in the long jump at 5.07 meters (16-7.75).
The Greyhounds will compete on the second day of action on Saturday, March 4 at Ithaca College beginning at 10:00 a.m.
