KUTZTOWN, Pa. --- Moravian College senior Rebecca Flitcroft competed in the first day of the heptathlon at the Mondschein Multi hosted by Kutztown University of Pennsylvania on Thursday.

Flitcroft scored 2,108 points in the four first-day events and was in 17th of 22 individuals at the meet. She scored 653 points for a time of 16.51 in the 100-meter hurdles, 409 points of a height of 1.30 meters in the high jump, 476 points for a toss of 9.18 meters (30-1.5) in the shot put and 570 points for a time of 28.79 seconds in the 200-meter dash.

Flitcroft will be back in action on Friday, April 14 in the final three events - the long jump, the javelin and the 800-meter run, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
