Greyhounds Take on Lehigh University Covert Classic

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's indoor track & field team competed at the Lehigh University Covert Classic on Saturday at Rauch Fieldhouse in south Bethlehem. 

Senior Casie Cronk started off the Greyhounds with a third-place tie in the high jump with a height of 1.55 meters (5-1). In the pole vault, senior Beth Ann Davies took fifth place with a height of 3.05 (10-0) meters and in the long jump junior Jordan Luciano placed sixth with a distance of 5.26 meters (17-3.25). On the track, the women's 800-meter run was won by sophomore Carly Danoski with a winning time of 2:19.16 seconds. The "A" 4x400-meter relay team consisting of Danoski junior Danielle Tomko, freshman Jenevieve Eberly, and sophomore Meghan Lazarchak came in ninth place in a time of 4:24.58 seconds.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, February 3 with a pair of meets as the team will split between the 19th Annual DeSchriver Invitational at East Stroudsburg University and the Susquehanna University Challenge.
