East Stroudsburg, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's indoor track & field competed at the East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania in the 19th Annual DeSchriver Invitational.
In the 4x200-meter relay, the Greyhounds "A" relay team which consisted of freshman Camaryn Wheeler, sophomore Lily Cooper, junior Jordan Luciano and freshman Martha Thorpe took fourth place with a time of 1:50.32 while "B" relay which is consisted of freshman Aimee Badman, junior Abigail Strouse, sophomore Meghan Lazarchak, and junior Danielle Tomko placed eighth with a time of 1:54.32. Sophomore Carly Danoski was awarded second place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:01:35 seconds.
Meanwhile in the 3,000-meter run, senior Sarah Hughes came in second place with a time of 10:38.00 while freshman Molly Talarico placed eighth in a time of 11:27.43. Over in the 4x400-meter relay, the Greyhounds "A" relay team consisted of Danoski, sophomore Alyssa Ullmann, sophomore Shayne McNally and freshman Natalie Novotni and came in seventh with a time of 4:34.07.
Continuing the success on the Moravian women's team, senior Beth Ann Davies placed third in the pole vault with a height of 3.04 meters (9-11.75). Freshmen Jenevieve Eberly took seventh in the long jump with a distance of 4.99 meters (16-04.50).
