LANCASTER, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's track & field team had half of the squad compete at the Coach I Open hosted by Franklin & Marshall College Saturday.
The Hounds had three top 10 finishes led by junior Martha Thorpe placing fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 10.70 meters (35-1.25) while junior Jenevieve Eberly was tenth in the long jump with a leap of 4.82 meters (15-9.75). On the track, the 4x200-meter relay team of Thorpe, junior Emily Renner, junior Tatiana Lopez and sophomore Hannah Flaven was eighth in a time of 1:53.68.
The entire Greyhound team is set to return to action on Saturday, February 1 when the squad travel to the Bomber Invitational at Ithaca (N.Y.) College.
