Hounds Tied for 13th After First Day of All-Atlantic Region Outdoor Championships

ROCHESTER, N.Y. --- The Moravian College women's outdoor track & field squad is currently tied for 13th of 21 teams scoring points on the opening day of the All-Atlantic Region Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by St. John Fisher (N.Y.) College Wednesday with the Greyhounds scoring nine points. 

Moravian Finishers

  • Sophomore Helen Davis was second in her preliminary heat of the 100-meter dash in a PR time of 12.23 seconds to advance to the finals on Thursday while senior Camaryn Wheeler was 10th in a time of 12.90 seconds
  • Moravian's 4x400-meter relay team of Wheeler, junior Alyssa Lambert and sophomores Rachel Byrne and Crystal Robinson finished fifth with a season-best time of 3:58.82, the third fastest time in school history, to earn the Greyhounds five points
  • Senior Natalie Novotni placed sixth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:14.23 to earn three points for the Hounds
  • Junior Emma Marion took seventh in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 39:32.99 to earn Moravian's final two points on the opening day of the meet
  • Senior Tatiana Lopez finished 11th in the 100-meter hurdle preliminaries with a time of 16.06 seconds
