READING, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's track & field squad earned eight top ten finishes at the Alvernia University PLEX Invitational Saturday.
Moravian Results
- Senior Helen Davis finished as the runner-up in the 60-meter dash finals in an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying time of 8.09 seconds after a time of 8.19 seconds in the preliminaries
- The quartet of Davis, sophomores Zoey Bronson and Racquel Ramey and freshman Shai Knight finished third in the 4x200-meter relay in a time of 1:50.65
- Junior Lexi Groff was third in the high jump at an AARTFC qualifying height of 1.60 meters (5-3)
- Groff also finished ninth in the long jump with a leap of 4.76 meters (15-7.5)
- The Greyhounds 4x400-meter relay squad of sophomores Rylie Murphy, Amber Poniktera and Lexi Rushatz and freshman Kate Rice finished sixth in a time of 4:33.45
- Sophomore Rachael Goodman placed eighth in the mile run with a PR time of 5:33.23
- Freshman Margie Rayne was ninth in the shot put with a toss of 10.60 meters (34-9.5), and Rayne also had a PR toss of 11.27 meters (36-11.75) in the 20-pound weight throw
- Freshman Ali Haefele took tenth in the triple jump with a distance of 9.74 meters (31-11.5)
