Why did you choose Moravian College?
I chose Moravian College because it was a small campus and I knew that in the classroom setting that I would not just be a number. I really enjoy getting to know my professors on a personal level and interacting with so many students on campus!

What is your major and why?
I am a biology major on a pre-medicine track. I love the medical field and interacting with people, this has always been a passion for me and I am so lucky that I have to opportunity to make my dream a reality.

What has been your favorite course at Moravian and why?
My favorite course at Moravian has been general chemistry with Dr. Shari Dunham. I remember that was my first college class as a freshman and I was so nervous for the course. As the semester went on I loved that class more and more and she is one of my favorite professors here at Moravian.

What are your plans for the future once you finish your degree at Moravian?
My plans for the future are to go to medical school either at John Hopkins University or University of Pennsylvania.

What is your most memorable moment as a Greyhound?
My most memorable event as a Greyhound was breaking the school outdoor record high jump. I remember it was a rough outdoor season my freshman year and I was not jumping well, then towards the end of the season I peaked and at ECAC's I broke the record and tied for fifth place.

How has being an athlete helped you as a student and in the classroom?
Being an athlete has helped me so much as a student. It has helped with time-management skills that I did not have. It also help me to prioritize certain things because playing a sport does take up time from the day.

Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome?
One obstacle of adversity I had to overcome was transitioning from high school to college. The aspect of being away from home was hard at first when I came to Moravian my freshman year. Throughout the semester my track team and my friends on campus made the transition a lot easier and they were the ones who became my family.

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Moravian?
Community Service is important to my role as a student-athlete at Moravian because it builds character and team spirit. It also provides an opportunity for personal growth and a true sense of accomplishment.

What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian College student-athlete?
Advice that I have for prospective Moravian College student-athlete is to enjoy every moment. Work hard not just in the sport you are playing but in the classroom as well. It is so important to maintain your grades as a student-athlete because you are a role model on campus.
