BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's volleyball team wore pink uniforms and raised money during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in a match versus DeSales University on Thursday, October 20th.
The Greyhounds raised money in memory of Ginnie Rohn, a 1993 graduate of Moravian. The program rasied $740 and donated it to the Lehigh Valley Women's Cancer Center.
Ginnie was a teacher and volleyball coach at Liberty High School, and coachedtwo current players on the Greyhound roster. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 breastcancer in 2009 and sadly after a well fought, yet difficult battle succumbed to the disease on September 27, 2011.
