Why did you choose Moravian College?
I love the feeling of being close to home as well as
being at a school that gave me a great opportunity for both an
education and volleyball.
What is you major and why?
My major is Psychology with Early Childhood Education. I
really love working with children and being able to be a part of
their growth as both individuals and students.
What has been your favorite course at Moravian and why?
I really enjoyed all of the education courses so far,
especially one that taught me about Diversity in the Classroom. It
really opened my eyes to celebrating and acknowledging diversity of
young students within the classroom.
What are your plans for the future once you finish your
degree at Moravian?
I plan to get a job as an elementary school teacher as
well as coach volleyball. I then plan to start a
family.
What is your most memorable moment as a Greyhound?
My most memorable moment as a hound was when I found out
through a text from my coach that I was the Rookie of the Year for
the Landmark Conference. I will never forget the unconditional
support and felicitations I had received from my
team.
How has being an athlete helped you as a student?
I feel as though that throughout high school and even
during my freshman year at Moravian I have learned that time
management is the key to success. It is now second nature to me to
get all of my work done first while leaving much time for game and
practice preparation.
What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian
College student-athlete?
Embrace the fact that you are a part of a supportive
athletic community and give 110% in everything you do whether it is
on or off the court.
