Why did you choose Moravian College?
Moravian felt like home to me. The volleyball girls were really welcoming. The people here genuinely care about your success and the campus is beautiful.
What is you major and why?
Business Management because I love sales and interacting with people.
What has been your favorite course at Moravian and why?
Organizational theory because the professor is great and you learn about real life business strategies.
What are your plans for the future once you finish your degree at Moravian?
My dream would be to own my own sports bar, but realistically I would want to work for a sales team in a big corporation in the Lehigh Valley.
What is your most memorable moment as a Greyhound?
Making friendships that I will cherish forever on and off the court. Also, being apart of something bigger than yourself.
How has being an athlete helped you as a student?
Being an athlete you don’t have time to push things off because you always have practice, to lift or a game. It shows me where my priorities need to be and how to work hard to succeed in both.
What is the hardest part of your sport?
Having every player, new and old, be able to connect to each other on the court.
Why do you wear your jersey number?
That was D-wood’s decision.
Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome.
Once being a big fish in a small pond transitioning to being a little fish in a big pond.
Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Moravian?
Growing up, I always looked up to older athletes and everything they did. Setting a good example for others is very important. Moravian student athletes really put an emphasis on helping others in need.
What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian College student-athlete?
Always work hard and cherish every moment because you have 4 more years to be playing the sport you love with your best friends.
