Beginning her 31st season as the head of the Moravian volleyball program in 2023 is Shelley Bauder. In her first 30 years, Bauder has led the Greyhounds to a 548-400 record with three appearances in the NCAA Division III playoffs and seven berths in the ECAC South Championships. Her .600 winning percentage ranks in the top 50 in the nation among active NCAA Division III coaches.

Moravian has posted twelve 20-win seasons since 1996 under Bauder including a school record 29 wins in 2012. She has coached five All-Americans, two Conference Players of the Year, one Conference Specialist of the Year, five Conference Rookies of the Year, 13 All-Region players and 41 All-Conference players. Bauder is a four-time conference Coach of the Year honoree and was also the American Volleyball Coaches Association Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year in 1997.

Bauder received a Bachelor of Arts in physical education/education from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1984 and received a Master of Education with a concentration in physical education/health from East Stroudsburg University in 1993.

Bauder is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association and serves on AVCA Division III Head Coaches Committee.

Bauder and her husband Tim have two grown children, Kaysie and Caleb and reside in Coopersburg, Pa.
