Mayer Finished 25th at NCAA Division III Mideast Regional to Earn All-Region Honors

NEWVILLE, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's cross country finished 21st of 49 teams at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional hosted by Dickinson College at Big Spring High School to complete the 2017 season.

The Hounds scored 566 points with Johns Hopkins University winning the meet with 32 points.

Moravian sophomore Katie Mayer earned All-Region honors for a 25th place finish among the 351 runners as she ran a time of 22:54.6 on the 6,000-meter course. Freshman Grace Gilbert was 82nd in the meet with a time of 24:10.0 while junior Alyssa Limbaugh ran a time of 24:55.0. Rounding out the Greyhounds' top five were freshman Molly Talarico with a time of 25:17.9 and sophomore Carly Danoski in 25:38.3. Freshman Natalie Novotni ran a time of 26:11.0 while sophomore Marlee Hornbaker had a time of 26:42.6 to finish out the Moravian squad.
