Moravian Women Place Second in Dutchman Invitational

LEBANON, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's cross country team competed in the Dutchmen Invitational Saturday hosted by Lebanon Valley College at Union Canal Park in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, the site for the 2018 Landmark Conference Championships in October.

The Hounds were second of 14 schools scoring with 68 points with the host Dutchmen finishing first with 28 points and Landmark Conference rival The Catholic University of America in third with 93 points. Junior Carly Danoski led the Greyhounds with a 10th place finish among the 138 runners on the 5,000-meter course in a time of 19:39.57. Junior Katie Mayer was 11th in 19:43.29 while sophomore Natalie Novotni placed 13th with a time of 19:48.77. Rounding out Moravian's top seven runners were sophomore Molly Talarico in 16th place at 20:01.81, freshman Rachel McCoach at 18th in a time of 20:07.71, freshman Natalie Stabilito in 23rd at 20:18.48 and senior Alyssa Limbaugh at 26th in 20:33.79.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Friday, September 14 when the squad co-hosts the Moravian/Cedar Crest College Invitational at Bicentennial Park in Northampton beginning at 6:00 p.m.
