Moravian Women Place 11th at 2019 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's cross country squad placed 11th of 49 teams in the 2019 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional hosted by Muhlenberg College on the Goodman Campus of Lehigh University Saturday.

The Moravian scored 356 points while Johns Hopkins University won the regional with 88 points. Senior Carly Danoski led the Hounds with a 44th place finish among the 349 runners with a time of 22:54.7 on the 6,000-meter course. Junior Natalie Novotni was 67th in the race with a time of 23:13.4 while junior Molly Talarico finished 70th in 23:17.5. Rounding out Moravian's other runners were sophomore Emma Marion in 71st place with a time of 23:18.4, sophomore Rachael McCoach in 109th at 23:58.8, junior Grace Gilbert at 118th in a time of 24:01.9 and senior Katie Mayer in 124th in 24:07.3.
