In her 21st year as Administrative Assistant to the Athletics Department, Marty Moyle is half of a two-person team that oversees travel, officials, budgets, purchasing, NCAA eligibility, special events, and all other details for 21 athletic teams and nearly 350 competitions annually. 

Her athletics career began in high school when she managed the basketball, cross country, and track teams, and has expanding into officiating.  She is a Certified Master Level Official for USA Track & Field and holds USATF Level One Coaching Certification.  A longtime Penn Relays official, she has also officiated around the country at the USA Track & Field Championships, United States Olympic Festival, and the Junior National Championships.  She has also served as Chief Timer and Director of Officials for the 1993 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships and as Meet Co-Director of the 1994 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships. 

A 2009 graduate of Dave Raymond’s Mascot Boot Camp, Moyle holds the rank of Mascot First Class.  She is founder and former advisor of the Moravian College DawgPack Mascot Performers group, sponsoring training for mascot characters and coordinating appearances both on campus and off, showcasing Moravian College at many community events.  Moravian’s Amos the Greyhound won the SportsTalkNY Radio Mascot Madness in 2010 and 2011, and Moravian’s October 2010 Mascot Camp was featured in a four-page article in American Airlines’ American Way magazine.

Moyle is a devotee of Moravian Athletics traditions, both old and new, and has researched and written about them in articles for The Bethlehem Press, Moravian College Magazine, and for campus sports trivia contests. 

She is also a Smithsonian-affiliated certified guide and interpreter for Historic Bethlehem Partnerships, and when not found at home in Bethlehem, can be frequently be found traveling the eastern United States as a historical re-enactor.
