Don Clemons joined the Moravian staff in 2013 after a long career as an assistant in the NFL. A native of Northampton, and proud Konkrete Kid, Don began his coaching career in 1977 at Kutztown University, followed by New Mexico State and Arizona State. In 1985 he began working for the Detroit Lions, beginning a 27-year stint that saw him work for nine head coaches and 14 defensive coordinators.

Don retired in 2012, at which time his son, Corey, enrolled as a freshman quarterback at Moravian. After taking the year off, Don returned to the sidelines in 2013 coaching the inside linebackers. Coach Clemons will assist the defensive line in 2018. Don and his wife, Shawn still live in Michigan, except during the football season, when they return to the Lehigh Valley.
