Casey Umstead joined the Moravian coaching staff in 2020. She has been part of the United States Women’s National Team program since 2012 when she joined the Junior Indoor Team. Umstead was named to the National Team in January, and she has 30 Caps internationally. Umstead, who graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2018, was a two-time All-American for the Huskies including a First Team honor in 2017 while helping UConn to the NCAA Division I National Championship. A three-time All-Big East and All-Mideast Region selection, Umstead was honored as the 2017 Big East Defensive Player of the Year.
