Greyhounds Placed Sixth in 2021 Landmark Conference Golf Championships

HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. --- The Moravian College golf team placed sixth at the 2021 Landmark Conference Championships hosted by Juniata College at the Scotch Valley Country Club Saturday. 

How It Happened

  • The Greyhounds had a team score of 340, finishing sixth of the seven schools. Moravian was just one stroke out of fifth place
  • The Catholic University of America claimed the Landmark Conference Championship with a team score of 299 

Moravian Results

  • Senior Thomas Lakata finished in a tie for 12th of the 35 golfers with a round of 79 on the par 72 course. Lakata carded one birdie and 10 pars during his round
  • Junior Will Breslin was tied for 18th with an 83 that included a pair of birdies and eight pars
  • Senior Victor Tavares tied for 26th with an 88 in his final collegiate round that included one birdie and three pars
  • Sophomore Andrew Hozza was 28th in the field with a 90, and he had a birdie and six pars in the round
  • Senior Kody Kolnik was tied for 33rd with a 93 that included four pars
