Moravian Finishes Third at Muhlenberg Invitational as Haberstumpf Earns Medalist Again

ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's squad finished third of 12 schools at the Muhlenberg College Invitational played at the Lehigh Country Club Monday afternoon.

How It Happened

  • The Greyhounds recorded a four-man team score of 309, finishing 10 strokes behind winner Dickinson College. Alvernia University took second with a 304
  • There were 64 golfers in the tournament on the par 70 course 

Moravian Results

  • Freshman Jake Haberstumpf fired a two-over par round of 72 as he earned his third medalist honor of the season. Haberstumpf won a three-way tiebreaker with the lowest back-nine score of 35, and he had three birdies and 10 pars in his round
  • Sophomore TJ Bohl tied for fifth with a 75 that included a birdie and 12 pars while senior Andrew Hozza and sophomore Jason Koch were both tied for 20th with rounds of 81. Hozza carded two birdies and six pars while Koch recorded a birdie and 10 pars
  • Senior Jack Wagner was tied for 36th with an 85 that included a birdie and five pars
