Chris Cullen & Ryan O'Donnell Named to NABC Honors Court

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Seniors forward Chris Cullen (East Islip, N.Y./East Islip HS) and guard Ryan O'Donnell (Succasunna, N.J./Roxbury HS) of the Moravian College men's basketball team were named to the 2010-11 National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court earlier this month.

Cullen and O'Donnell earned the honor for the second straight year after posting a grade point average of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2010-11 academic year. In addition to have a 3.2 G.P.A., members of the NABC Honors Court must be a junior or senior, a varsity player and completed at least on year at their current academic institution.

Cullen, who was named to the Landmark All-Conference Second Team for the second straight year and was a three-time Landmark Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll selection, led the 2010-11 squad in scoring at 13.2 points per game and in rebounds, grabbing 7.9 boards per contest. Cullen, pictured at left, started all 25 games for the second consecutive year, and he added 17 assists, 12 steals, 42 three pointers and five blocked shots while averaging a team high 33.3 minutes per contest. Cullen completed his career with 968 points, 501 rebounds, 123 three-pointers made, seventh in school history, and 366 three-pointers attempted, fifth all-time at Moravian.

O'Donnell, pictured at right, averaged 4.7 points this past winter in his second season as a starter for the Greyhounds. He added 54 assists with just 42 turnovers, 34 steals, 43 rebounds and 16 three-pointers while earning a spot on the Landmark Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll for a third straight season. O'Donnell finished his career with 78 games played including 48 starts, 224 points, 91 rebounds, 121 assists, 55 steals and 28 three-pointers.
