ORLANDO, Fla.--- The Moravian College men's tennis team opened their 2015 spring schedule at Fort Gatlin Courts in Orlando, Florida Sunday afternoon with a tough loss9-0 to Wabash (Ind.) College in its first match outside since the fall season.
Juniors Matt Tuorto and John Wylie fell 8-3 as the Greyhounds got out to a rough start falling behind 3-0 after doubles action. Wylie would force three sets in singles, falling in the third set, 6-1, 4-6, 1-0 (10-4). Sophomore Dan Schmucker also played three sets in singles before falling in the final set, 3-6, 6-0, 1-0 (10-3).
Moravian will return to action on Monday, March 9 in a non-conference match versus Monmouth (Ill.) College at Liberty High School Courts in Orlando beginning at 10:00 a.m.
