Greyhounds Sweep Elizabethtown on the Road

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's tennis squad posted a 9-0 sweep on the road at Elizabethtown College in Landmark Conference action Tuesday.

How It Happened

  • The Greyhounds won all three doubles matches to jump out to a 3-0 lead. Juniors Kieran Pisani and Justin Szaro earned the first point with an 8-0 triumph at second doubles. Freshmen Ronny Pimentel Ferrer and Zachary Lebby posted an 8-1 victory at third doubles while freshmen Anthony Ronca and Wyatt Marshall completed doubles play with an 8-1 win at first doubles
  • Moravian also captured all six singles matches as the squad posted its second 9-0 sweep of the spring. Sophomore Steve Schneider earned the first point in single action with a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at sixth singles. Marshall recorded the winning team point with a 6-1, 6-2 win at fifth singles while Ronca came off the courts with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at first singles. Pisani posted a 6-1, 6-3 triumph at fourth singles while Szaro won 6-2, 6-0 at second singles and Lebby recorded a 6-3, 6-4 victory at third singles to complete the match
