Dan McSurdy is in his fifth year at Moravian in 2022-23 as a hurdles and sprints coach. He has a USTFCCCA Level 1 technical certification, and Level 2 Sprints/Hurdles/Relays certification and is currently working on his MBA at Moravian. McSudry has coached 36 Landmark All-Conference Athletes including 20 conference champions and two NCAA qualifiers.

McSurdy graduated from Keystone College in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Recreation Management and a minor in business. He won one Colonial States Athletic Conference championship in the 100-meter dash and was All-CSAC a total of seven times in his career and also made the CSAC All-Academic Team and the CSAC 25th Anniversary Team.
