181 Hounds Receive Dean’s Honors List Accolades for 2022 Spring Semester
July 02, 2022BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University Department of Athletics and Recreation had 181 of its student-athletes receive Dean’s Honors List accolades from the University for achieving a 3.50 or higher grade-point average during the 2022 Spring semester. -
Moravian Announces 2022 Hall of Fame Inductees, Teams & Herbstman Award Recipient
July 01, 2022BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Erica Klepeisz Kilpatrick ’09; Eric Lambinus ’94; George Pitsilos ’67; Abigail Schaffer ’12 and Eric Campbell-Woodruff ’11 make up the class of 2022 that will be inducted into the Moravian Athletic Hall of Fame. The 1994, 2001, 2002 and 2003 women’s tennis teams will also be inducted on Friday, October 7 in Johnston Hall while Dr. Stacy Robustelli will receive the Robert Martin Herbstman Award.

The next contest in the Top 10 Exciting Games from the past year is our No. 6 highlight – the softball squad scoring five runs in the bottom of the tenth inning to post an 8-7 win over Wartburg (Iowa) College at the PFX Spring Games in Florida on February 28.

124 Greyhounds Named to 2022 Landmark Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll
June 10, 2022TOWSON, Md. --- The Landmark Conference announced its 2022 Spring Academic Honor Roll selections today including 124 student-athletes from Moravian University. The Honor Roll recognizes all winter and spring student-athletes who have reached sophomore standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.

John Byrne Calls it a Career at Moravian After More Than 40 Years as a Greyhound
May 23, 2022BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- John Byrne arrived at Moravian in the fall of 1978 as a freshman baseball student-athlete, and after 44 years on the Bethlehem campus that has seen the school go from a College to a University, Byrne has called it a career, retiring as a Greyhound after spending the last 29 years as Head Softball Coach.

May 05, 2022BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University honored its 2022 senior student-athletes with its Senior Athlete Award Ceremony at Prosser Auditorium Thursday afternoon. Softball standout Brooke Wehr selected as the Outstanding Senior Female Athlete while baseball player Eddie Olsen was honored with the Outstanding Senior Male Athlete. The Blue & Grey Scholar Athlete awards were presented to women’s soccer student-athlete Alexa Brown and men’s track & field/cross country runner Shane Houghton. The H.T.D. Gillespie Award for outstanding service to Moravian’s athletics program was presented to Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach Amy Endler '93.
