BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's soccer squad fell to The University of Scranton, 1-0, in Landmark Conference action on John Makuvek Field Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened

  • Both squads had opportunities in the opening half, but the contest would be scoreless through the first 45 minutes of action
  • The match remained scoreless until the 86th minute when the Royals were able to get a shot inside the left post for their only goal of the afternoon

  • Junior goalie Payce Korpics recorded six saves in the match
  • Scranton held an 18-3 advantage in shots and a 3-2 edge in corner kicks
