Greyhound Women Fall to Susquehanna in Landmark Meet

SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's swimming squad fell to host and Landmark Conference opponent Susquehanna University, 126-20, on Friday evening. 

How It Happened

  • Freshman Catie Lovett earned a third-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle in a PR time of 26.89 seconds, then she recorded a PR time of 59.20 in the 100-yard freestyle. in the 100-yard backstroke Saturday morning. In her final event, Lovett swam a 1:13.58 in the 100-yard backstroke for fourth place  
  • Junior Jaelyn Mitchell turned in three third-place finishes for the Greyhounds. She posted a time of 2:18.71 in the 200-yard freestyle in her first event of the night. Mitchell followed that up by swimming a 1:12.19 in the 100-yard butterfly and concluded her evening with the 500-yard freestyle, completing the race in a time of 6:25.46
  • Junior Sydney Steere posted a time of 32.02 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle in her first session and then recorded a PR time of 1:08.95 in the 100-yard freestyle to finish in fifth place
  • Moravian totaled 20 points
