Greyhound Women Turn in Multiple PRs after Day 1 of Landmark Championships

BOYDS, Md. --- The Moravian University women's swimming team had their relay squad and five individuals post personal bests on Day 1 of the program's first Landmark Conference Championship in their inaugural season on Friday. The first session of the day began at 10:00 a.m. and final qualifiers competed in the 6:00 p.m. session.

Personal Bests

  • Mitchell swam in the 500-yard freestyle and posted a PR time of 6:01.60, 18.48 seconds better than her seed time
  • Mazzetti participated in the 200-yard individual medley and finished in 2:39.65 for a personal best
  • Junior Sydney Steere, Werner and Lovett all competed in the 50-yard freestyle event during the morning session on Friday. Lovett finished in 18th place in a time of 25.99, a new PR by .62 seconds while Werner swam the event in 27.65 seconds, also a personal best. Steere completed the race in 29.36 seconds for a PR by over a second
  • Moravian totaled 46 points at the conclusion of Day 1 of the Landmark Conference Championships
