DALLAS, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's swimming team competed in the three-session Cougar Splash Invitational hosted by Misericordia University at Dallas Middle School on Friday and Saturday.

How It Happened

  • Sophomore Catie Lovett was 22nd in the 50-yard freestyle in the opening session Friday evening with a time of 26.50, and she was 19th in the 100-yard back stroke in 1:09.43 and a time of 2:17.66 in the 200-yard freestyle Saturday morning. Lovett finished the meet Saturday evening with a time of 59.68 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle to finish in 24th place
  • Sophomore Sarah Mazzetti swam a time of 39.94 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle Friday evening
  • Senior Jaelyn Mitchell recorded a time of 1:09.88 in the 100-yard butterfly to place 19th during Saturday morning's session. Mitchell posted a time of 1:00.20 in the 100-yard freestyle Saturday evening
