MADISON, N.J. --- The Moravian University women's swimming squad scored 16 points during the first two sessions of the Ranger Invitational at Drew University Friday.
How It Happened
- Senior Jaelyn Mitchell finished 11th in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:04.48, and she took 12th in the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 6:07.22 in the first event of the meet
- Senior Marissa Werner placed 12th in the 50-yard freestyle in 27.14 seconds
- Sophomore Sarah Mazzetti swam a time of 30.23 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle
- Senior Sydney Steere recorded a time of 29.15 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle, and she posted a time of 2:27.74 in the 200-yard freestyle
- The Greyhounds' 4x200-yard medley relay squad of Werner, Mazzetti, Mitchell and Steere took fifth in 2:09.76 to garner eight points in the final event of the opening session. The Hounds earned another eight points with a fifth place in the 200-yard freestyle relay with Werner, Steere, Mazzetti and Mitchel recording a time of 1:52.48 in the first event of Friday's evening session
