WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's swimming team split a double dual meet at Lycoming College Saturday, falling to the host Warriors, 88-46, and defeating Wilkes University, 70-18.
How It Happened
- Senior Sydney Steere won the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:24.54, and she took second in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:07.14. Steere also swam a time of 29.85 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle
- Senior Jaelyn Mitchell was the runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:10.80, and she swam a time of 2:17.30 in the 200-yard freestyle
- Sophomore Catie Lovett placed third in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:07.90. Lovett also had a time of 2:34.74 in a 200-yard backstroke time trial, and she also swam 26.71 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle
- Senior Marissa Werner finished third in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 28.38 seconds
- Sophomore Sarah Mazzetti was second in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2:26.15, and she took fourth in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:20.08
- The Hounds 200-yard freestyle relay team of Mitchell, Werner, Steere and Lovett finished first in a time of 1:53.52 while the 200-yard medley relay squad of Werner, Mazzetti, Mitchell and Lovett took second in a time of 2:07.62
