BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis posted a 9-0 sweep of Juniata College in a Landmark Conference match on Hoffman Courts Saturday as the Greyhounds celebrated Senior Day.
How It Happened
- The Hounds won all three doubles matches and only dropped four games. Seniors Emma Angle and Mary Angle were the first duo to finish with an 8-0 victory at first doubles. Sophomores Julianne Cassady and Cristina Merone finished next with an 8-2 win at third doubles while seniors Brooke Adams and Kristen Cassidy earned an 8-2 triumph at second doubles to finish the sweep
- Mary Angle was off the courts first in singles with a 6-2, 6-1 win at second singles while Emma Angle had the clinching point with her 6-0, 6-0 victory at first singles. Adams finished next with a 6-1, 6-1 triumph at third singles while Cassady earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at fourth singles and Cassidy won 6-2, 6-0 at fifth singles. Senior Destiny George finished off the contest with a 6-1, 6-1 win at sixth singles for the Greyhounds
- Before the match started, Moravian honors the Adams, Cassidy, George and the Angle sisters for Senior Day
