ROME, Ga. --- The Moravian College women's tennis squad saw its 2021 season with a 5-0 loss to defending NCAA Division III Champion and No. 2 Wesleyan (Conn.) University in the second round of the 2021 NCAA Division III Regional at the Rome (Ga.) Tennis Center Friday morning.
How It Happened
- Wesleyan won the three doubles contests to jump out to a 3-0 lead. Moravian's tandems of seniors Emma Angle and Mary Angle and seniors Brooke Adams and Kristen Cassidy earn won a game at first and second doubles
- The Cardinals also took the first two singles matches to finish at second singles and sixth singles. Mary Angle captured a game in her second singles match while Emma Angle at first singles and sophomore Julianne Cassady at fourth singles also won a game in their matches that were unfinished
