Greyhounds Win Nine Events at Juniata Invitational

HUNTINGDON, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's outdoor track & field squad captured nine event titles in the non-scoring Juniata College Invitational Saturday in the Greyhounds' final tune-up before the 2021 Landmark Conference Championships.

Event Winners

  • Sophomore Helen Davis won the 100-meter dash in 12.52 seconds, which is an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field qualifying time, and she also captured the 200-meter dash in 26.07 seconds
  • Junior Alyssa Lambert finished first in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.19 seconds, and she also placed first in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:05.51, an AARTF qualifying time
  • Senior Natalie Novotni took first in the 3,000-meter run in 10:36.95
  • Moravian's 4x100-meter relay squad of Davis, seniors Camaryn Wheeler and Tatiana Lopez and sophomore Crystal Robinson won in a time of 49.10 seconds, an AARTF qualifying time
  • The Greyhounds 4x400-meter relay A team of Lambert, Robinson, Wheeler and sophomore Rachel Byrne had a winning time of 4:10.26
  • Freshman Lexi Groff took first in the high jump with an AARTF qualifying height of 1.55 meters (5-1)
  • Freshman Hanna Leto won the triple jump at 10.34 meters (33-11.25)

Top 8 Finishes

  • Wheeler finished third in the 100-meter dash in 12.81 seconds while graduate student Jordan Luciano was fourth in 12.98 seconds
  • Luciano also finished third in the 200-meter dash in 27.38 seconds while senior Morgan Weaver was fourth in 27.39 seconds and senior Emily Renner placed eighth in 28.40 seconds
  • Robinson was the runner-up in the 400-meter dash in 1:00.41 with Weaver placing fourth in 1:03.43 and Renner taking sixth in 1:06.86
  • Junior Natalie Stabilito finished second in the 800-meter run in 2:22.49 while Byrne was third in 2:25.79 and freshman Pia Mazzella DiBosco took sixth in 2:36.72
  • Novotni was the runner-up in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:56.12 while senior Molly Talarico took sixth in 5:21.19
  • Junior Emma Marion finished third in the 5,000-meter run in 19:29.81 while sophomore Peyton Herbst was seventh in 23:00.59
  • Leto placed second in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.71 seconds while senior Cat Cole took third in 17.00 seconds, senior Jenevieve Eberly placed fourth in 17.49 seconds and sophomore Elizabeth DeMassa finished fifth in 17.83 seconds
  • Eberly was the runner-up in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:11.35 while senior Alison Nicolosi was fifth in 1:14.95
  • The Greyhounds 4x400-meter relay B squad of Stabilito, Herbst, Nicolosi and junior Mackenzie Heitz finished second in a time of 4:53.14
  • Tatiana Lopez was seventh in the high jump at 1.30 meters (4-3.25) while DeMassa was eighth at the same height
  • Senior Tyleen Lopez was the runner-up in the long jump with a mark of 4.98 meters (16-4.25) while Luciano finished fourth in 4.91 meters (16-1.5), Eberly placed fifth at 4.81 meters (15-9.5) and sophomore Haylee Saylor was sixth at 4.76 meters (15-7.5)
  • Saylor also finished fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 9.49 meters (31-1.75)
  • Freshman Gracie Hezel placed sixth in the shot put at 6.81 meters (22-4.25)
  • Freshman Vicky Donovan was the runner-up in the javelin at 30.72 meters (100-9) while sophomore Delaney Wiseman was third with a mark of 30.27 meters (99-4)
