ROCHESTER, N.Y. --- The Moravian University women's indoor track & field team finished tied for ninth of 11 teams in the Nazareth (N.Y.) Conference Challenge Cup Saturday with the Greyhounds scoring 25 points.

Event Winners

• Sophomore Lexi Groff captured the high jump with an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field qualifying height of 1.61 meters (5-3.25) to garner 10 points for the Hounds. Groff was one of three competitors to clear the winning height but was first as she cleared the first three bars in a single attempt while the second and third place jumpers needed more attempts 

Top 8 Scoring Finishes

• The Greyhounds first points of the meet came in the 4x200-meter relay where the quartet of juniors Helen Davis and Crystal Robinson and freshmen Abby Giamoni and Zoey Bronson finished third in a time of 1:48.06 to earn six points
• Davis also scored three points with a sixth-place finish in the 60-meter dash in an AARTF qualifying time of 8.06 seconds, the same time she ran in her preliminary heat that she won with the fifth fastest overall time to make the finals
• Robinson garnered five points in the 200-meter dash with an AARTF qualifying time of 26.56 seconds as she won her heat in the race while Giamoni added one point with a PR time of 27.04 seconds, and she won her heat as well 

PR Distances/Times

• Junior Maddie Wickel recorded a PR of 11.89 meters (39-0.25) as she placed 18th in the 20-pound weight throw
• Sophomore Kinsey Metzger set an indoor PR in the shot put with a toss of 10.61 meters (34-9.75) as she finished ninth. Freshman Mikayla Woodring also had a PR in the event of 9.37 meters (30-9), good for 20th
